“This is my human. There are many like him, but this one is mine.”
– Bella Donna
Date of Birth: March 7, 2014
Sire: Sir Buddy Jackson
Dam: Pepper Jack-Lee
She is an American Doberman, which means she is shorter than her European counterparts. Though in her pedigree there is some of the ‘Warlock’ line, she’s not a large Doberman. She also gets her docile personality from her American bloodlines.
*Bella’s AKC prefix is Shamrock’s, the original name I gave my newborn kennel at age 16! But because she is the matron of our kennel, she is referred to on our website as “Birkline’s”.
**Fun Fact:, I changed my kennel name because luck has nothing to do with the quality of our dogs and the “Shamrock” name suggested it might. So instead I put my name on the kennel; proud to stamp my name on each dog we produce.

Bella earned her ironic name by being the most affectionately submissive Doberman I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. Truly the typical Velcro Dobie, she spends much of her time worshiping her human and is a pillar of stability to the rest of our pack. We’re so grateful to see her laid back, modest nature influencing her offspring’s personalities.
