Toby was born in late August 2020. He’s been professionally trained and is housebroken. He’s just recently been neutered, is up to date on annual vaccines, rabies, and monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. We saw the vet for a health check in mid June. He also comes with his Embark genetic profile and carries only one copy of the vWD gene. He is DM and DCM free and has an incredibly low COI, giving this pup the best chance at a long, healthy life. Toby is registered with the American Kennel Club with full registration.
Toby sometimes submissively smiles when he greets people, especially if he thinks he’s done something wrong. It should never be confused with baring teeth and is an adorable greeting to receive early in the morning when he’s hungry. He loves wide open spaces, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. Raised with Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction, this boy returned to us recently by no fault of his own. His former family explained that their lifestyle left him in his crate for what they considered to be too much time each day, and feeling that they owed him more, they brought him back to us.
He was raised alongside three boys at our home, and his former family also had three rambunctious boys, so he is accustomed to young children, though has been known to help himself to hand-held food from the kids if they’re not vigilant. We have been working on this and also his peering onto the kitchen counters. He is tall enough to see over the top and becomes tempted by what he sees.
